Days Gone By...

I was rummaging around in the drawers looking for some stuff today. It took some time, but I did find it eventually. Memmorycards are amazingly good at hiding themselves. But at least I got to go trough some old stuff... :)

And would you believe it, I also found my old passport from when I lived my year in Australia and went to high school at Good Shepherd College in Hamilton, Victoria. Flipping trough it it still has the my student-visa from then.

The visa in -97. What will it look like next time?
Passport -97. Even I have grown up a bit in 15 years...?

This sent me on a trip down Memory Lane. I started going trough my pictures from then as well. I can not believe that it has been 15 years since then. I still remember it. Of course, the memories are a bit faded now and as always it is the good bits that stands out. Still, those were the days. 17 years old going half-way around the world on my own. Would I have the guts now, I wonder? Everything was so simple and open back then.

I don't remember the visa-process being as complicated as it is to day for example. That could also have to do with the fact that I had an organization doing everything for me, of course ;-)

Anyways, I decided to upload a few pictures, just for the fun of it and to share them. When I get my new visa, I will maybe upload this one as well for comparison. Let's see how much things change in 15 years :)
Enjoy the pics until next time.
