So...

So...
I decided to start writing a bit about our little project. This will be as a way to map my own progress and to update those who know us on how we are coming along. I will be updating this blog on the very rigorous "whenever I remember and have the time and energy" schedule.

For those who don't know me/us (but then, how did you end up here...?) here's the short and sweet of it.
I'm working as a Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level II at the Downtown ambulance station in Oslo.
Some time ago I decided that I want to get my Bachelor degree in Paramedics. As this one is currently not available in Norway, and as I really want to live in Australia we decided to go for it and see if we cant manage to get Down Under. Hence the name of this blog.
I have currently applied to three schools; Charles Sturt University (www.CSU.edu.au) which is in Bathurst, NSW, some two hours west of Sydney, to the Masters degree at La Trobe University (www.latrobe.edu.au) situated in Bendigo, VIC, about 1,5 hours north of Melbourne and to Flinders University (www.flinders.edu.au) in Adelaide, SA.

That's the short version.

At the moment I am waiting for replies from them. I applied at CSU first, and so am expecting an answer from them first. I am opening the mail-box with tension every day, feeling a bit like a kid waiting for a present :p

So, that's where we are at the moment, just waiting and trying to read up on rules and regulations both in the schools and regarding visas. And thrust me, there are a lot of them...!

That's when I decided to start blogging about it. As I wrote in the beginning, mostly for my self, but if anybody wants to read the unscheduled ramblings I'll be posting here, you are more than welcome.
It will be unregularely and amateurish at least to begin with, and then we'll see as time goes by if I get better or what happens. I like to think that I'll get better... ;)

If I figure out how, and there is a demand for it I'll keep it open for comments (as it needs to be open in the first place so that demand can be shown)

I will also be writing about other things as well that happens in my life, not just about Project OZ, I  believe. We'll just have to see were we end up as time goes by and the journey continues. Hang on mates :)
And I'll be writing the main posts in English so that all my friends from outside Norway can also get the possibility to follow along if they for some reason should want to:)

Think that's it for now.

I'll post again when I have something new or when I just want to :)
