Read all about it...!

Normally I hate getting up for day shifts. I am not made for being awake at 05.00. I honestly believe that humans were not made for seeing that time of day.
This morning, however, had a surprise for me. In my Inbox there was a mail from Charles Sturt University.

I have been accepted at the Bachelor of Clinical Practice (Paramedic) :-DD
Australia, here we come!!!
I can't think of a better way to start the day. This means that we actually will be going Down Under.
Startup is in February 2013 and it lasts until October 2015. That's three years in OZ. Just what we have been looking for.

Now, Charles Sturt University is in Bathurst, New South Wales. This is about two hours west of Sydney. New South Wales is definitely a state I can see myself living in. It is Australian as can be and also has an advantage for Alex; It is not far from the Blue Mountains and skiing resorts. Yep, skiing in Australia :)
Bathurst has about 30 000 inhabitants so I think it is a great size for me at this point in life. I actually feel a bit like living in a smaller place. Things are looking great.
The only thing that can stop us from moving to Bathurst now is if I should get accepted within the next couple of weeks at La Trobe for the Masters degree. So, there is still some excitement ;)

Next step now of course is the visa. More work, and I'm expecting something not to  go like it is supposed to, no matter how much the Department of Immigration and Citizenship insists that it is just a technicality and done in weeks. It always does. I wish Murphy's Law would take a break just once...
But still, nothing will ruin this day and I really cannot see what should stop us from moving now.

Again; Australia, here we come!!!
